Pep Guardiola, who is stepping down from the position of a coach, admitted that Madrid deserves to win the Spanish championship.

The capital team secured the title of the winner, leading the Catalonia club by 7 points with only two rounds remaining.

"The Madrid team deserves the first place because they have earned a lot of points. We need to think about how to improve in order to beat them again," Guardiola said. "To defeat 'Real' it is not enough to just be good. They are a very strong opponent."

And he added: "Everyone wants to win, but you also need to know how to lose. I am proud of how we handled this situation."
