The reinforcement-seeking Barcelona is eyeing Bayern Munich defender David Alaba.
The left-back footballer has established himself in the main lineup of the German team this season. Meanwhile, the Spanish club is considering who could replace the health-problem-ridden Eric Abidal.
It is doubtful whether in the long run the substitute for Abidal could be his backup Adriano, so the 19-year-old Austrian, who started the season as a goalkeeper and later requalified as a defender, is one of the most realistic candidates.
Barcelona is also keeping an eye on Spanish national team defender Jordi Alba and Tottenham star Gareth Bale.
