Due to the prolonged winter conditions, the matches in Šiauliai took place in Palanga. Both teams started the game actively, and in the 6th minute, the referee from Telšiai, Antanas Rubys, had to calm the emotions showing a yellow card to Denis Vasilkovas of "Šiauliai".

In the second half, the initiative was still with "Šiauliai" who managed to solidify their advantage - in the 49th minute, Marekas Krukovskij's long shot from about 20 meters beat the "Vilnius" goalkeeper Maciejus Kijiwski.
