Captain Patrice Evra is convinced that the club's "empire" will not fall, even if the English Premier League title is lost to the team.
With only one round left until the end of the season, the 'Red Devils' have the same amount of points as the other city team, but the crucial factor is that the latter has a goal difference eight units better.
"I know that if we don't win the championship, many people will say that it is the end of the empire and question how we will survive," Evra said. "But there is a lot of talent in this club."
In the last round, "Man Utd" will have to beat "Sunderland" away and hope that "Man City" will stumble at home against London's "Queens Park Rangers."
"This season we have had many injuries, and in addition, many experienced players left the team in the summer, so solving such problems immediately is difficult," justified the Frenchman.
