The president of the San Paulo "Santos" club reacted strongly to rumors in the media about "Barcelona" trying to lure Brazilian team's forward Neymar.
Lately, various newspapers have once again talked about possible attempts by the Catalan club to bring the brightest young Brazilian football star to their ranks back in 2013, and such news greatly irritated Luis Alvaro Ribeiro, who doesn't mince words.
"Neymar is the kind of guy who could dance in the grand theater if he were a ballet dancer. If he were an actor, he would win an Oscar. I want Neymar to stay at 'Santos' until he turns eighty. I will even offer a contract to his son" - mused the leader of the Brazilian team.
The president of "Santos" burst out when he was reminded that the forward supposedly also interested in "Barcelona," even though the leaders of the Catalan club themselves have publicly emphasized that negotiations with the player have not even begun.
"He's interested in 'Barcelona'? They can go dig potatoes in Catalonia," L. A. Ribeiro joked.
