French national team coach Laurent Blanc has announced a preliminary list of players for the upcoming European Championship final stage this summer.
It includes 12 players representing non-French clubs. This decision was made because the "Ligue 1" championships end slightly later than the seasons of other major countries.
Surnames of players continuing their careers in their home country are planned to be announced on Tuesday.
The first match in the Old Continent championships for the French team will be against England on June 11.

Defenders: Gael Clichy ("Man City"), Patrice Evra ("Man Utd"), Younes Kaboul ("Tottenham"), Laurent Koscielny ("Arsenal"), Adil Rami ("Valencia"), Philippe Mexes ("Milan")
Midfielders: Yohan Cabaye ("Newcastle"), Florent Malouda ("Chelsea"), Samir Nasri ("Man City")
Forwards: Hatem Ben Arfa ("Newcastle"), Karim Benzema ("Real"), Franck Ribery ("Bayern")
