Alessandro Nesta will finish a 10-year career stage at the club after this season.
The match on Sunday against "Novara" will be the last for the 36-year-old veteran, but the Italian does not rush to talk about hanging up his boots.
"I don't feel like an important part of the team, so I'd rather be at home," Nesta said. "Respecting the club and myself, I would like to try something new."
It is said that Nesta, who wore the jersey of AS Roma before joining AC Milan nine years ago, is being tempted to join the New York Red Bulls in the United States.
