Defender Chris Smalling will miss the start of the European Championship in June due to a groin injury.
In last weekend's Premier League match against Swansea, the footballer played the full 90 minutes on the field, but after detailed examinations, it was revealed that he had suffered a serious injury.
In the national team, Smalling has played three matches.
England will begin the Old Continent's competition on June 11 with a match against France, and later will play against Sweden and Ukraine.
