The best coach of the 2011-2012 season in the English Premier League was recognized as strategist Alan Pardew, while the award for the best football player will go to the captain Vincent Kompany.

The team from Niukaslis unexpectedly occupies a high fifth place before the last match of the season and still does not give up hope of earning a ticket to the UEFA Champions League. However, this requires a victory against Liverpool's Everton and stumbles from one or both of the London teams - Arsenal and Tottenham.

"This is an incredible achievement for all the club's people. We are fighting for a place in the Champions League, although it would have been difficult to dream about. Since such an opportunity does not come often, we must try our best to take advantage of it," Pardew said.

Meanwhile, Kompany received recognition becoming a true leader of Man City. The team only conceded 27 goals in 37 matches and is one step away from the English champions title.

"I am very grateful, but I want to immediately say that I share this award with my partners in defense. They play incredibly - Pablo Zabaleta, Gael Clichy, Joleon Lescott, and others... The prize belongs to them!"
