Mancini: successfully finish the job we started and win the "Premier" league © EuroFootball.com

Coach Roberto Mancini is convinced that his players will successfully finish the season and triumph in the English Premier League.

In the last round, the Italian team only need to beat Queens Park Rangers at home, but a draw may be enough if Manchester United does not win against Sunderland away. At the moment, the Manchester clubs have the same number of points, but Manchester City has a better goal difference by eight.

"I believe in my players 100%," said Mancini. "They understand that everything is in their hands. We have all worked hard together in every match throughout the year, and winning this championship is very difficult. I think the team that deserves it will eventually triumph. But we have played better football than our opponents. Even when we were not winning."

He added: "It is impossible to play well in every match for a full year. There was a month when problems arose: we conceded silly goals, we didn't score ourselves. I think it's normal."

Commenting on the words of Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson that Manchester City played cautiously, Mancini joked: "I agree. I am Italian, I cannot change myself, and he is Scottish. Ferguson is the best coach in the world."

Ending the conversation with journalists on a light note, the coach said: "If we triumph, you better stay away from Mario Balotelli, because he will be dangerous!"
