Almost half of a thousand Bilbao "Athletic" fans missed the opportunity to witness the UEFA Europa League final with their own eyes, as they confused between the capitals of the Old Continent.
Around 400 Basques traveled to the Hungarian capital Budapest, even though the decisive match for the trophy took place 800 kilometers away in the Romanian city of Bucharest.
According to the television channel "Antena 3", the fans quickly realized they were in the wrong place, as there were no other football fans around.
However, the geography experts did not lose too much, as "Athletic" lost in the final to Madrid's "Atletico" club 0-3.
