Club coach from Portugal Jose Mourinho stated that he would like to work in England for another ten years, and then he would like to test himself at the helm of the Portuguese national team. The strategist made this statement while visiting Israel.

The Portuguese became the head coach of "Chelsea" this summer after two particularly successful seasons with the "Porto" club, during which the eccentric coach managed to win two of the most prestigious European club football tournaments - the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Champions League. With the London club, the best coach of the past year has already managed to win trophies - the club triumphed in the English League Cup competition, and is also close to the "Premier" league champions title, not losing the chance to win the Champions League for the second year in a row.

"My idea is to work another 13 years," the coach said at a press conference. "Four of these years I want to spend working with the Portuguese national team. By saying four, I mean two tournaments - the European and World Championships, although maybe just the World Cup would be enough. So, before this period of two or four years, I have another eleven or nine years. During these years, I see myself in English football."

Although the coach claims he will stay in England, he does not intend to become the coach of the national team of this country.

"To be the coach of the English national team? This position is not for me. First of all, I think it is already in good hands. Second, when Sven (Sven Goran Eriksson - coach of the English national team - ed. note) decides to leave or if he is dismissed by the English Football Association, I believe that the job will go to an Englishman."
