Country champions "General Financing A Lyga" in the twelfth round met with local team "Tauras" in Tauragė and defeated the opponents 2:1. This was already the eleventh consecutive victory for "Ekranas."
"Ekranas" took the lead in the 4th minute when Mantas Savėnas scored a great penalty kick.
Andrius Velička doubled the lead in the 35th minute after a pass from Aurimas Vertelis, directing the ball into the goal from a few meters away.
The two-goal advantage allowed "Ekranas" to feel more confident. After the break, the champions slowed down the pace of the game and created fewer dangerous situations near the opponents' goal than in the first half, while "Tauras" managed to soften the result at the end of the match.
