Legendary "Newcastle United" striker Alan Shearer stated that "Man Utd" club must strengthen their lineup if they still want to compete equally with "Man City" team in the future.
"Yesterday an important change happened in the championship and the owners of "United" must find funds for new players. The final tournament table doesn't show the real difference in the strength of the teams.
The winning of the champions title by "Man City" owners will encourage them to open their wallets even more, while the "Red Devils" are currently standing still. I have to tip my hat off to "Man Utd" coach Alex Ferguson for his achievements with players of such caliber.
"If I were to choose a team of the season, I would take only Wayne Rooney from "Man Utd", while from "City" - even five players," Shearer said.
