"Liverpool" is looking for a new manager for "long-term work" © EuroFootball.com

Owners would like the new coach to work with the team for at least four to five years.

On Wednesday, former legendary team striker Kenny Dalglish was dismissed from his duties, and the new manager, who will be allocated at least 40 million euros to buy new footballers, is expected to be announced as soon as possible.

It is reported that representatives of "Liverpool" have spoken with former London "Chelsea" manager Andre Villas Boas, but his chances of replacing Dalglish are considered modest. Two other names are also mentioned: former Liverpool striker coach Rafael Benitez and "Wigan" manager Roberto Martinez.

In addition, the club is looking for a new football director. Talks have already been held with well-known candidates such as Johan Cruyff and Txiki Begiristain.
