During the winter transfer window, rumors were circulating that the Brazilian Edu, currently representing a London club, had signed a pre-contract with the Spanish champion and UEFA Cup holder team, but these rumors were later denied.
Now, as the season approaches its end, Valencia's sporting director Eduardo Macia again claims that after the season ends, Edu will move to Valencia's team.
Edu's contract with Arsenal expires this summer, and although the player himself would like to stay with the London team, other famous European clubs are interested in him, so there is a high probability that this season will be Edu's last at Arsenal.
"Edu is a very good player and our club needs players like him," Macia said.
"Everything should be sorted out in the coming weeks. We have already agreed on all the conditions with Edu's agent, the player himself also says he wants to represent our team, so I don't see any obstacles that could hinder this transfer."
