Jose Mourinho officially signed a new four-year contract with the Madrid club and committed to lead it until 2016.
The 49-year-old specialist arrived in Spain in 2010 and already won the country's King's Cup in his first season. The recently ended season was even more successful: for the first time in four years, the national championship was won. On the way to this triumph, even two records were improved: a total of 100 points were won and 121 goals were scored.
However, such success did not reach Mourinho's pupils in the Champions League, as they were defeated in the semifinals by the Munich "Bayern" team.
Before taking over the reins of the Madrid team, the Portuguese has coached teams such as "Porto," London's "Chelsea," and Milan's "Inter."
