The Catalonia club officially presented the home and away match kits for the 2012-2013 season, created by the sports and leisure goods manufacturer "Nike".
This time, the main aspect of the new design is the fusion of two traditional "Barcelona" colors - blue and garnet. This composition was chosen to create the main jerseys, which the team usually wears when playing matches at the Camp Nou stadium.
The jerseys also feature a red collar and cuffs of the same color. On the back, at the neck, there is the flag of Catalonia, and on the inside of the jerseys - the "Barcelona" motto "Mes Que Un Club".
For the away jerseys, "Nike" chose a bright yellow and orange fusion of colors, as well as the aforementioned decorative elements - the flag of the Catalonia region and the team's motto.
"Nike" traditionally used so-called "green" technologies, emphasizing that recycled plastic water bottles were used in the production of the kits. It took 13 plastic bottles to make each kit, including jerseys and shorts, and this manufacturing technology reduced energy consumption by 30% compared to traditional clothing production methods.
