"Barcelona" team strategist Pep Guardiola admitted that Lionel Messi is the best in the world and doubts whether he will ever see such a player again. In yesterday's "Copa del Rey" final, the Argentine scored once and now has 73 goals to his name. The 41-year-old coach managed to win fourteen titles in Barcelona over four seasons, but claims that during those years it was not him who taught Messi, but the other way around. "It was a great honor for me to coach such a player like Messi, and I'm not sure if I will ever see anything similar to this player again," Guardiola told journalists after the game. "This player taught me to be even more competitive. Without him, we would have won titles, but not as many." The coach was also asked how he managed to create a team that was able to win so many titles over four seasons. "I just did my job. I contributed very little to these victories, my team did all the work," concluded the Barcelona strategist after his last game. Pep Guardiola became the head coach of the Barcelona team in 2008 when Frank Rijkaard left the team.
