Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic confirmed that he is particularly interested in the Real Madrid club.
Reports in the Spanish press have suggested that the Serbian is a key target this summer for Jose Mourinho. The royal club's coach is now focusing heavily on renewing the defensive line.
The 28-year-old footballer, following the friendly match between the Serbian and Spanish national teams on Saturday, stated that he has spoken with representatives of Real about the possibility of wearing the "white" jersey next season, but emphasized that he also feels great in London.
"Yes, I spoke with the management of the Madrid team, but I said that I am not currently thinking about leaving London," Ivanovic said.
"A week ago we won the Champions League and I definitely cannot think about changing teams. Right now, I am very happy," the defender insisted.
The Serbian joined the "Blues" team in 2008 from Lokomotiv Moscow for 9 million euros. Wearing the jersey of the London team, the footballer played in 107 matches and scored 8 times.
