Adam Ljajic has been removed from the Serbian national team for not singing the country's anthem before a friendly match against Spain.

This decision was made by coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, emphasizing that the player did not follow his rules.

Ljajic, a 20-year-old who practices the Muslim faith and represents a religious minority in the team, refused to sing the anthem for personal reasons. He will only be allowed to return after promising to comply with the rules set for him.

A few weeks ago, Ljajic was involved in a scandal at Fiorentina club. During a match in the Italian championship, he was substituted and ironically thanked coach Delio Rossi for the decision. The coach got angry, attacked the player, and tried to hit him on the head, resulting in him later being dismissed from his duties.
