Russians intend to use force and only think about victory against Lithuanians © EuroFootball.com

On Tuesday in Switzerland, the Lithuanian national team will have a friendly match with the Russian national team preparing for the European Championships.

The head coach of the upcoming opponents, Dick Advocaat, stated that they will continue to work on improving various aspects of the game.

"Our thoughts are already focused on the first championship match against the Czech Republic.

Our immediate plans - this morning the footballers will be able to rest, but on Thursday we will have two training sessions. What will we try in the match against Lithuania? Like in the game against Uruguay, we will have to work harder to relieve pressure on our own side of the field," said the Dutch coach.

"In the European Championship, we need to reach the best physical form. I feel ready to compete and show all my abilities. Of course, it's a shame that we didn't win against Uruguay, even though we played well. In the match against Lithuania, our goal is one - victory," said Russian forward Alexander Kerzhakov.

The match will be broadcast live at 20:45 on "Lietuvos Rytas" television.
