The final composition of the England national team for the European Championship starting on June 8 was announced.

Coach Roy Hodgson will take defender Glen Johnson and striker Danny Welbeck to the tournament, although both missed Saturday's match against Norway due to injuries.

In addition, Gareth Barry was dropped from the squad on Monday, replaced at the last minute by defender Phil Jagielka.

Wearing the number nine jersey, Liverpool striker Andy Carroll will play. It is speculated that this player may start the match against France in the starting lineup, as Wayne Rooney will be suspended for the first two games.
