The forward of the Spanish national team Fernando Torres believes that they will manage to win their third European Championship trophy.
The 28-year-old footballer admitted that it will not be easy to achieve this, but he has no doubt that they are the favorites of the tournament.
"The atmosphere in the team is great, as always. We are eager to defend the European Championship title and we will try to do it," the player told the official FIFA website.
The forward of London's Chelsea also added that he can now compete at the highest level, but he thinks it will be difficult without Barcelona players Carles Puyol and David Villa.
"I feel great now, as this season has been amazing, especially its ending, and I believe that I am now in my best sporting form," insisted the forward.
Recall that the Spanish national team will play their first European Championship match against Italians on June 9.
