Terry's Disqualification in Three Matches © EuroFootball.com

London defender John Terry was given a three-match suspension by UEFA.

Such punishment was received by the Englishman for a red card in last season's semi-final against Barcelona. He already missed the final match, so he won't be able to appear on the field in the first two group stage matches next season.

The 31-year-old Terry hit Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez, and later apologized for his actions, stating that he "let the team down."

However, this did not prevent not only achieving a favorable result in Barcelona but also winning the final against Munich's Bayern after a series of penalty shootouts.
