The new club's coach officially appointed Zdenek Zeman.
The 65-year-old specialist has already worked in the capital team of Italy from 1997-1999. He has signed a two-year contract.
Zeman will replace Luis Enrique, who resigned after last season due to poor results. In the Serie A championship, "Roma" finished only in seventh place and did not even qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament.
Last season, the team led by the Czech coach "Pescara" secured a promotion to the highest league in Italy.
