Andrea Stramaccioni will be at the helm of Milano club for the next three years.
The 36-year-old specialist has been temporarily leading the team since March of this year, when he replaced the experienced Claudio Ranieri who was dismissed due to poor results.
Prior to that, Stramaccioni, who ended his professional football career in 1995 due to a serious injury, worked with Inter's youth team and won the NextGen tournament.
In nine Serie A matches, Stramaccioni achieved five victories, including a triumph in the city derby against Milan. In the league table, Inter remained in sixth place and will play in the UEFA Europa League tournament.
Pleased with these results, president Massimo Moratti decided to offer the coach a long-term contract.
