An impressive victory was achieved by the players of "Villarreal", who defeated Bilbao "Athletic" 3-1 at home, who have also been playing well this year. In the last ten minutes of the match, "Valencia" pressed their opponents and were able to score goals through the Italian Bernardo Corradi and defender Marco Caneira from Portugal, who later had to leave the field due to a second yellow card. In this match, the injured defender Vicente and defender Curro Torreas did not play, while defender Ruben Baraja will not appear on the field for at least a couple of weeks.
