Cristiano Ronaldo has no doubt about the chances of the Portuguese national team to win the European Championship. Among the favorites, the leader of Madrid also includes the Spanish national team, which will defend the title of the champion.
"If I had a bag of money, I would bet on Portugal and Spain. I believe in my team, and after them, I would see Spain," said Cristiano Ronaldo.
"Of course, the Spaniards will greatly miss Carles Puyol and David Villa, but there are certainly those who can replace them properly. This team has a core of excellent footballers, so coach Vicente Del Bosque could put together at least two teams competing for the highest positions."
Spain will start the European Championship on June 10 with a match against Italy, while Portugal in Group B will face Germany a day earlier.
