Scoring five goals, Calum Elliot helped Žalgiris Vilnius secure a resounding 8-1 victory against Vilnius "Polonia" in a friendly match.

The match between Žalgiris Vilnius and Vilnius "Polonia" started with the attack of the team representing the Polish national minority. "Polonia" scored the first goal and surged forward as early as the 2nd minute of the match. Žalgiris players struggled to take the initiative after conceding a goal. "Polonia" tried to capitalize on this by launching several attacks, but they were far from being as accurate as the first goal that ended the attack. As time went on, Žalgiris played more confidently.

In the 19th minute, Calum Elliot broke free towards the goalkeeper, received a pass from Tomislav Peko, and sent the ball into the net, equalizing the score. The striker scored again just a few moments later - in the 21st minute, after bypassing several defenders in favor of Žalgiris. At the end of the first half, C. Elliot won a micro-duel with the opponent by "Polonia" goal and for the third time defeated the goalkeeper.

Shortly after the start of the second half, the most productive player of the "General Financing A League," in the 46th minute, scored his and the team's fourth goal with a shot from the edge. In the 63rd minute, C. Elliot almost scored from the same spot and netted his fifth goal. In the 65th minute, another striker - Artūras Jeršovas - increased the score with a precise shot. Towards the end of the half, the match resembled more of a training session than a friendly meeting.

Mario Grgurovičius took advantage of the spaces created, earning a penalty kick in the 84th minute. Tomislav Peko converted it in the 88th minute during a counterattack, finding himself alone against the goalkeeper and scoring Žalgiris' eighth goal, sealing the deal in this match.
