BLOG: (Not) talking about EURO 2012. Part 2 (PHOTO) © EuroFootball.com

In the portal "EuroFootball.com" - the devout fan of the sport king Subo BLOG's about current football events.

The most pleasant job is hypothetically to brew from the thickness of coffee how the further events would unfold if all previous forecasts came true:)

Quarterfinals

Russia - Netherlands

Somewhere already seen? The Dutch should have a fantastic opportunity to take revenge for more than a shocking humiliation during Euro 2008. According to the current capabilities of the teams, this would inevitably happen. The Russians would not even have the chance to demonstrate their attacking talent, as the Dutch would dominate.

Germany - Czech Republic

I don't think the second pair would bring much more intrigue. Simply, having fought through Group A, the Germans can beat anyone. If it's the Czechs, there certainly won't be any major problems.

Spain - England

I have no doubt that the traditional/comical English fans' question to Hodgson "Who do you support when England gets knocked out" will not be refuted. When Richards, Rio Ferdinand, Carrick will sit in front of the TV, it's hard to expect anything positive. And even against the Spanish, whose style should be quite comfortable for the English.

Italy - France

It is very likely that this battle will truly take place. And this would probably become the biggest highlight of the quarterfinals. There are plenty of unsettled scores - from the 2006 World Cup to Euro 2008. There is also the desire to rehabilitate themselves for the tragic performances in 2010. The teams' capabilities are similar, but with how the French have looked in the last two years, it is worthy of respect and difficult not to expect them in the semifinals.

Semifinals

Netherlands - Spain

Another prophecy, the fulfillment of which would adorn Euro 2012. The Dutch, of course, are eager to take revenge on the Spaniards for the 2010 World Cup. They are capable of doing so, but their defensive line raises quite serious questions. The Spaniards' problems this year should revolve around not the attack in general but the individuals in the attackers' line. However, I think that in this case, the Spanish will still make it to the final.

Germany - France

A long-seen confrontation that would also truly adorn the championship. Playing against the French is not easy for anyone, and Blanc has done a tremendous job. However, rarely does a coach lead his team to the final in his first championship after an absolute fiasco taking over the national team. I think France's impressive winning streak will be interrupted in the semifinals.

Final

Spain - Germany

The German coach pays particular attention to his team's tactics. According to noticed new trends, some observe that the Germans are learning to keep the ball longer. Does it remind you of the Spaniards? Undoubtedly. Basically, in such a final, the Germans would likely strive to maintain an equal score in the battle for ball control and prove that they have a better arsenal in attack than the Spanish. One problem - they are still very young. It may be that their time is already now. But in reality, their true potential will only be fully realized in 2 years. Of course, a Spanish triumph would be unprecedented, three victories in a row in major tournaments have not been for a long time, and perhaps not at all, but this time I guess so. And who knows, maybe the Spaniards will fall much earlier?
