Russia - Netherlands
Somewhere already seen? The Dutch should have a fantastic opportunity to take revenge for more than a shocking humiliation during Euro 2008. According to the current capabilities of the teams, this would inevitably happen. The Russians would not even have the chance to demonstrate their attacking talent, as the Dutch would dominate.
Germany - Czech Republic
I don't think the second pair would bring much more intrigue. Simply, having fought through Group A, the Germans can beat anyone. If it's the Czechs, there certainly won't be any major problems.
Spain - England
I have no doubt that the traditional/comical English fans' question to Hodgson "Who do you support when England gets knocked out" will not be refuted. Italy - France
