Ukrainian national team coach Oleg Blokhin suspects foul play - allegedly even 10 football players could not have accidentally been poisoned at the same time with food.
Before Tuesday's match with Turkey, Anatoliy Tymoshchuk had to be put on a drip, and Denys Harmash had his stomach pumped by medics. Other health issues were resolved with more typical measures.
"This happened in Germany, but it is impossible to determine the causes - everyone ate different food," said Blokhin. "Perhaps it is sabotage, but considering the circumstances, it is obvious that it is not just a coincidence."
It is hoped that all players will be ready for the European Championship first match against Sweden on June 11.
