On Friday, the eagerly awaited European Championship begins with the matches between Poland - Greece and Russia - Czech Republic.

Greece will win the match against Poland (odds 4.30). Bet - 15 Lt.
To choose the winner of the opening match of the championship, I rigorously dig into the statistics. It loudly whispers that the duel between the Poles and Greeks should end in a tie. Both teams have tasted defeat very rarely recently: the tournament hosts - once in the last 12 games, while Greece - once in the last 21 matches played. Their last match ended in a draw 0:0. But only cowards would choose the easiest option, right?
Therefore, even though Poland boasts that they kept clean sheets in 5 matches, and the Greek national team's performance is such that if they score more than one goal, it could be declared a national holiday, I believe that the Greeks will score one goal. Meanwhile, the lack of responsible matches (Poland did not have to play in the qualifiers) and the pressure from home fans will be the barrier that will greatly complicate the chances of Robert Lewandowski and company to advance to the next stage of the championship.
Russia will win the match against Czech Republic (odds 2.10). Bet - 15 Lt.
According to bookmakers' early predictions, Russia will win Group A, while Czech Republic will already pack their bags after the first three matches. The problem for our great neighbors is their attitude: the weaker the opponent, the more relaxed they are on the field. The Czechs are capable average players, so they will definitely have to play against the Russians. The only question that worries is how they will be able to convert the opportunities, as there is plenty of talent among Russian footballers.
Statistics whisper in the ear that the Czech national team is the worst in controlling the ball among all tournament participants, so in terms of productivity, these representatives of Central Europe do not stand out, and the main stars with Milan Baroš and Tomáš Rosický are already in the sunset of their careers. I am already counting the profit.
