The football club "Šiauliai" has finished the physical training camp. The team lived and trained together at the "Napoleon" sports base for the last five days. The team's coaching staff had prepared a detailed training program, which they successfully implemented. The physical training cycle was crowned by a victory against Kėdainiai "Nevėžis" with a score of 3-0. The next matches for "Šiauliai" are against Vilnius "Žalgiris".

During the training camp, the team had excellent conditions for training. Delicious food, a not too overloaded schedule, and unofficial table tennis champions tournaments allowed for a good atmosphere throughout the training camp. Despite the rainy weather that hit in the first days, the men did not lose their enthusiasm to train.

The head coach of FC "Šiauliai" Gediminas Jarmalavičius was sincerely pleased with the team's work during the training sessions: "We are very pleased that the club provided us with the opportunity to go and work. The men really worked sincerely and did not need any extra urging. Everything seems to have gone according to plan, but the final result will show during the matches, both the upcoming one with 'Žalgiris' and the following ones. The schedule ahead is demanding. After the match with 'Nevėžis', there is a slight fatigue felt, but we still have practically a week until the 'General Financing A League' match."

"I think the work done at the camp will bear fruit, everything will fall into place and we will be fully prepared to compete. The injuries of the mentioned players (editor's note: Tautvydas Eliošius, Mindaugas Malinauskas) are a little worrying, however, the players' progress is optimistic. Of course, there are still areas for improvement, but we will gather at the stadium, work with the balls and try to prepare as best as possible for the upcoming marathon. The recent match with 'Nevėžis' showed that there are details of the game that need correction. In conclusion, the camp was very beneficial and timely. We chose the optimal number of days and ended the cycle with a high spirit."
