Steve Clarke has been appointed as the new head coach of a Premier League club in England.

The 48-year-old specialist, who has previously worked as an assistant coach at teams such as "Newcastle," London's "Chelsea," and "Liverpool," has signed a two-season contract.

"I have always had ambitions to take on the role of a head coach and I believe that I have learned enough by assisting others," Clarke said. "I am extremely happy with this opportunity that has come my way."

Last season, the specialist worked as an assistant to Kenny Dalglish at Liverpool. He will replace Roy Hodgson at "West Brom," who finished in tenth place in the English Championship and has since taken over as manager of the England national team.
