In order to accelerate the healing of injured football players, the French national team uses cryotherapy (cold therapy) at the European Championship.

Players spend a short period of time in a room with extremely low temperatures. According to specialists, this helps the body recover after exertion.

"Since a large number of matches are played during the season, football players are very tired," said team doctor Fabrice Bryand. "They spend three minutes in the cold chamber, which helps them fall asleep easier."

Initially, a temperature of 60 degrees below zero is applied for acclimatization, which is then reduced to as low as -110 degrees.

Before the first French match against England, there are doubts whether the defenders Yann M'Vila, Alou Diarra, and Blaise Matuidi will be able to appear on the field.
