Lows: experience plays a decreasing role in intensifying football © EuroFootball.com

Germany's national team coach Joachim Low did not spare compliments for the Portuguese team before Saturday's match.

The Germans are considered favorites for the duel, but the specialist did not rush to celebrate.

"Portugal is capable of overcoming anything," said Low. "This team has many excellent footballers representing very strong clubs. Cristiano Ronaldo alone can determine the outcome of the match, and there are also Nani and Pepe. We cannot forget that Portugal's results in European Championships are really good."

Low's inexperienced pupils will seek to compensate with enthusiasm: "We have a young team. I like youth, dynamism, and quality. This is more important than experience. Football has become a very intense game, so experience remains important, but not like before."

The clash between the Germans, who have won 11 official matches in a row, and the Portuguese, who have only won once in their last six matches, will begin at 21:45 Lithuanian time in the Ukrainian city of Lviv.
