Over the weekend, the 3rd round matches of the Russian "Premier" League were played. The championship leader, St. Petersburg's "Zenit," continues to play powerfully, securing their third consecutive victory and further distancing themselves from the other title contenders. "Zenit" left no chances for league debutant Grozny's "Terek" at home and crushed them with a score of 5-1. A.Arshavin scored three goals for the winners, while V.Radimov added two.
