UEFA received two new reports of racism during the European Football Championship. An investigation was launched into racist attacks against Italian national team star Mario Balotelli and Czech national team defender Gebre Selassie.
During the match between Spain and Italy, about 200 Spanish fans made monkey-like noises directed at M. Balotelli.
Meanwhile, G. Selassie faced insults from Russian fans during the confrontation between Czechs and Russians.
