From the fourth tier of potential, English football division last season, the "Crewe" club acquired talented striker Nick Powell.
'The Red Devils' paid about 4 million euros for the 18-year-old footballer. The value of the deal could almost double if Powell demonstrates good results.
"Nick is exceptionally talented, so I am delighted that he chose our team," said "Man Utd" coach Sir Alex Ferguson.
Powell himself said: "This is a dream come true. I am extremely looking forward to the opportunity to continue improving alongside a specialist like Ferguson and next to the best footballers in the world. I had a great time with the "Crewe" team, to whom I would like to thank for the last 13 years."
Last season, in more than 40 matches, Powell scored sixteen goals.
