Rusian national team may pay a high price for hooligan behavior.
Due to the actions of the Russians during the European Championship match against Czech Republic: fights with security, throwing pyrotechnics onto the field, and displaying insulting banners - UEFA imposed a penalty of deducting six points for the 2016 European Championship qualifying matches. However, the penalty is currently suspended and will not be applied immediately.
In addition, the Russian Football Union will have to pay a fine of 120 thousand euros.
It is noted that UEFA may take additional sanctions for the riots that occurred in Warsaw between Russian and Polish hooligans. During the match, fans of the Russian national team again raised banners of various kinds.
