England national team striker Andy Carroll must thank referee Damir Skomina for his generosity.
In the Friday match against Sweden in the first half, the footballer kicked the ball directly at the referee's legs after the whistle. However, it seems the Slovenian referee did not feel any pain and after accepting the Englishman's apology, continued the game as if nothing had happened.
England won the match 3-2 and took a big step towards the quarterfinals.
