The top German club, Bayern Munich, has offered a new contract to Brazilian attacking midfielder Ze Roberto and continues to seek the loan of German defender Robert Huth, who belongs to "Chelsea."
Ze Roberto's contract with the Bavarian club will end this June and recently the midfielder has been actively linked with several top clubs, among which Madrid's "Atletico" stood out the most. However, "Bayern" has decided to try once again to keep the former Leverkusen star and has offered a new one-year contract.
Meanwhile, failing to reach an agreement with the London club, the German superclub is not willing to give up and now focuses on a possible loan agreement. "Everything depends on the club, because we would easily come to an agreement with the player," stated "Bayern" president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge to journalists.
Bayern Munich became interested in "Chelsea" defender after it became clear that it was unlikely that a contract extension could be reached with Croatian national team player Robert Kovac.
Recently, "Bayern" has been actively working on negotiations with players - the club has recently extended the contract of defender Mehmet Scholl for another year, and defender Bixente Lizarazu is likely to do the same in the near future. The futures of Thomas Linke, Sammy Kuffour, and Alexander Zickler at the club are still uncertain.
