One of the stars of the Czech national team - Arsenal defender Tomas Rosicky - shared his thoughts before the upcoming Euro 2012 quarterfinal match, in which the Czechs will face the Portuguese led by Cristiano Ronaldo.
"People consider the Portuguese as favorites, but all the other teams are strong," he said. "I think we are all equal and only small details will determine the winner."
"Nobody considered us favorites even against Poland, but we had a chance and we took advantage of it. Now we have another opportunity and we will definitely fight for it."
Rosicky also commented somewhat critically on Ronaldo's game: "He is a great forward, but Cristiano doesn't like to defend. Of course, such great footballers can afford to relax in defense and score goals, but is he the best in the world? I don't think Ronaldo is worth that."
