The forward of the Spanish national team Pedro has no doubts that in the semi-finals of the European Championship, the world champions will manage to stop Cristiano Ronaldo.
On Wednesday, the Spaniards will fight for a place in the final against Portugal, led by the Madrid "Real" footballer who has already scored three goals.
However, Pedro told "Goal.com": "Cristiano is an amazing player, currently showing excellent form, so we will have to take that into account. Nevertheless, I think we know how to neutralize him. We trust in our strength, although we know it won't be easy."
According to the 24-year-old "Barcelona" player, the Spanish national team has started to show good form just in time.
"In the national team, practically the same players as before, we are playing good football, so we are not worse off than four or two years ago, when we won trophies," he said. "We are starting to show our best game at the right time, so we hope for a great match against the Portuguese."
