UEFA fined the German Football Association 25,000 euros for fans displaying neo-Nazi flags and chanting offensive slogans during the European Championship matches. The penalty was applied for the behavior of German fans during the group stage match against Denmark on June 17. Following this decision, Germany was fined for all three matches of that stage and paid a total of 40,000 euros. Previously, fans were accused of inappropriate chanting and behavior, as well as offensive flags.
