Cristiano Ronaldo urges the Spanish national team to stop complaining about fatigue before the European Championship semi-final match against Portugal.
World champions' coach Vicente Del Bosque said: "We will rest two days less than the Portuguese. It's a small advantage. I am thinking about this problem. We are already exhausted because the heat was putting pressure on the players in the quarter-final match."
However, the Portuguese C.Ronaldo was not inclined to emphasize that: "Three days of rest is more than enough. Spaniards complain that fewer free days are a problem, but I am a professional and I can say that this is not a crucial factor."
The striker who scored three goals in the competition understands very well the responsibility he carries on his shoulders: "I don't feel any pressure before the semi-final. Such matches are a part of my life. I have been playing important matches for clubs and national team for ten years, so I am used to it.
"Of course, I feel responsibility, but not pressure. It would be wonderful if Portugal reached another final - it won't be easy, but we need to take just one step. We have done a great job not only here, but also in the qualifying matches."
The semi-final match between Spain and Portugal will take place on Wednesday at 21:45 Lithuanian time.
