Today, the management confirmed that the new club coach will be former coach Alain Perrin. The 48-year-old Frenchman signed a two-year contract with Portsmouth, a club located in the south of England.
A.Perrin earned his name over ten years, which he spent leading the "Troyes" team. The Frenchman lifted this club from the fourth French league to a place in "Ligue 1", which grants a ticket to the UEFA Cup.
In 2002, he became the coach of "Marseille", but was fired in January of last year. The coach still considers this dismissal unjust.
A.Perrin will replace Velimir Zajec in the position of Portsmouth's head coach, whose team is currently a real candidate to be relegated from the Premier League - Portsmouth currently holds the 16th place in the highest English league.
