European Championship in Poland and Ukraine not only ignites the emotions of football enthusiasts, but also evokes sentiments in specialists. Although it has not been a year since Raimondas Žutautas left the Lithuanian national football team with heavy heart, high-level football spectacles have awakened the 39-year-old coach's nostalgia.
"The European Championships are over and I will start looking for work," - R. Žutautas planned.
The former footballer started attending coaching courses to obtain a UEFA "Pro" license. This status would allow him to work in any country in the world, at any level club. However, the studies will last for several more months. Together with Arminas Narbekovas and other well-known Lithuanian football specialists, the former coach of the Lithuanian national team listens to lectures from famous UEFA lecturers.
"The truth is, we don't accept everything without doubt. Sometimes we disagree, but in fact, there is a lot of benefit from those lectures," - R. Žutautas revealed.
The former head coach of the Lithuanian national team does not expect offers from famous clubs after obtaining this license, but the diploma would provide certain advantages.
When asked if he has already missed coaching, R. Žutautas replied:
"I have missed it. Six months of rest is a long enough time period. Especially when I have spent my entire life in football so far."
