Barzagli: Strength of the Italian national team - unity © EuroFootball.com

Andrea Barzagli defines unity as the strength of the Italian national team as the European Championship final approaches.

"Now we face the toughest match against the world and continental champions," the defender said. "We feel tired, but we have analyzed our opponents and have been together for a month, so we know what to do. Intuition whispers that everything will be okay."

Italian national team midfielder Pirlo is aiming to become the best player of the championship, but Barzagli emphasized that the strength of the Italians is not individual players.

"Who is our biggest star? The whole team, and only then individual players who can change the course of the game with their abilities at any given moment," he said. "Maybe Spain is not afraid of us, but they certainly respect us."
